A culture of trust: Excellence in ethics and compliance

From a family-owned company in Southern Oregon to a publicly traded global corporation, JELD-WEN has always focused on building trust. Foundational to trust is a culture that ensures transparency, accountability and integrity in how we treat each other, make business decisions and report when something doesn’t look or seem right.

At JELD-WEN, we are committed to being a safe, accountable and ethical company to work for, buy from and invest in. In 2023, we have been honored with numerous awards highlighting our successes and commitment to excellence.

Named a Most Trustworthy Company in America by Newsweek

"It is an honor for JELD-WEN to be named as one of America's Most Trustworthy Companies for the second year in a row," said CEO William J. Christensen. "This recognition is a testament to the company's values-driven culture and the emphasis we place on building strong relationships, offering high-quality, innovative products and consistently delivering on our promises."

Newsweek's 2023 most trustworthy companies were selected based on a survey of 25,000 U.S. residents across three vital public touchpoints of trust: customer trust, investor trust and employee trust. The survey evaluated a pool of 3,100 U.S.-based companies with revenue of more than $500 million.

Named a World’s Most Trustworthy Company by Newsweek
JELD-WEN was honored as the only window and door manufacturer on Newsweek’s global World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2023 list.

"We are immensely proud that JELD-WEN has secured its place among the World's Most Trustworthy Companies," said CEO William J. Christensen. "Building a culture of trust is paramount to strengthening JELD-WEN's business performance. We strive to earn and maintain the trust of our customers and stakeholders every day through our actions and our commitment to transparency, accountability and integrity."

The World's Most Trustworthy Companies 2023 were identified in an independent survey based on a vast sample of more than 70,000 participants in 23 industries from 21 countries. A total of 269,000 evaluations were analyzed by Statista, Inc. – a world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The participants rated companies they knew and were headquartered in the respective country in terms of all three touchpoints of trust. The three main public pillars of trust were: Customer Trust, Investor Trust, and Employee Trust. All stock-listed companies headquartered in one of the target countries with a revenue of over 500 million USD were considered in the study.
